Two parts: Microsoft licensing and the implementation. Licences are a per-user monthly subscription, on the Essentials or Premium plan depending on whether you need manufacturing and service management, with cheaper Team Member licences for occasional users. Implementation depends on scope: how many legal entities, which processes, the state of your data and which integrations you need. After one discovery call we can give you a serious estimate.

Three things dominate: the number of legal entities, the state of your master data, and integrations such as webshops, EDI or carriers. A single-entity wholesaler with clean data sits at the low end. A partner that already knows your sector helps too, because you stop paying for the discovery of problems that were solved elsewhere long ago.

That depends on entities, processes and data far more than on the software. Every project runs the same phases: discovery, design workshops, configuration, data migration, key-user testing and go-live with support. After discovery you get a timeline from the senior consultant who will actually deliver the project, which keeps the estimate honest.

Yes. Belgium’s B2B e-invoicing mandate is live and fines apply. Business Central sends and receives structured Peppol e-invoices through the Storecove connector Deltanexx implements, and the same connector also covers companies still on NAV while they plan their migration.

Yes, natively. Separate legal entities run as companies in one environment, with intercompany flows between them and consolidated reporting on top.

Yes. Business Central is Navision’s direct successor and there is a supported path from every NAV version. One Belgian wholesale business had run Navision 2.5 for over two decades and moved straight to Business Central cloud with Deltanexx, skipping every intermediate version.

Both paths exist. A technical upgrade carries your customisations across; a reimplementation starts from standard Business Central and rebuilds processes cleanly. Long-customised NAV environments usually justify reimplementation: you keep the data that matters and drop the code that made every upgrade painful. We advise after a scan of your environment, and we will tell you when the boring option is the right one.

Yes. Items, customers, vendors and open entries migrate with standard tooling, and design workshops map how you work today onto Business Central. The usual trigger for switching is hitting a ceiling on stock logic, multiple entities or reporting in the old system.
