Helpdesk app for Business Central

Helpdexx: support requests and tickets, without leaving Business Central.

Helpdexx lets you log an issue, track the ticket and follow your Deltanexx Support Contract hours, all inside the Business Central environment your team already works in. No portals, no scattered email threads.

How it works

One request in Helpdexx, start to finish.

You describe the problem in Business Central. Helpdexx turns it into a ticket, puts an eXXpert on it and answers in the same place. Nothing leaves the system.

The problem

Support issues shouldn’t need a second system to manage.

Most SMEs running Business Central don’t have a dedicated IT or helpdesk team. When something breaks, issues get reported by phone or scattered across email, and nobody has a clear view of what’s open, what’s resolved, or how many support hours have actually been used.

  1. Issues reported by phone or email get lost in inboxes There is no single place to track status, so nobody knows what is open and what is done.
  2. Ticket history sits in one colleague’s mailbox It is invisible to the rest of the team, so the context leaves when they do.
  3. No visibility into remaining support contract hours Not until the invoice lands, which is well after the budget was spent.
  4. Switching between Business Central and an external ticketing tool It wastes time a lean team does not have, on a tool nobody asked for.

Requests · Tickets · Contract hours

Helpdexx: one system, full visibility, zero extra logins.

Helpdexx brings the entire support lifecycle, from raising an issue to seeing your contract hours update, into the same Business Central environment your team already uses every day. Nothing new to install for your end users, nothing new to learn.

  1. Raised where it happened. One click on Get Last Error opens the exact error and its callstack so you can paste it straight in, and we are not guessing. Phone and email still work: we raise the request for you.
  2. One history, and the whole team can read it. Every ticket is visible to any user you name, not just the colleague who reported it. Closed ones move to a Ticket Archive and stay readable.
  3. The budget updates as it is spent. With the Support Contract module you watch the remaining budget move as chargeable hours are logged, and see which Deltanexx employee logged them. Only chargeable hours come off.
  4. Nothing new to log into. A native app installed into your own tenant from AppSource. If your team can open Business Central, they can already use it.

The difference

Support without Helpdexx vs. with Helpdexx.

The same three problems, before and after.

Without Helpdexx Phone calls, email threads, and a budget you learn about when the invoice lands.
With Helpdexx Every request a tracked ticket inside Business Central, hours in view.
Who did I call about this? Issues reported by phone or email leave no trace. Three weeks later, nobody remembers what was said, promised, or fixed.
Every issue is a tracked ticket Raised in Business Central, converted into a ticket, assigned to a Deltanexx expert, with a status you can check at any moment.
History trapped in one mailbox The whole conversation lives in one colleague’s inbox. If they’re on holiday, or leave the company, the context leaves with them.
Centralized, visible to your team Tickets and their full history live in Business Central, where every defined user can open the same ticket and see the whole conversation. No single point of failure.
Budget surprise on the invoice How many support hours are left this year? You’ll find out when the invoice arrives. Not before.
Contract hours, live Remaining budget updates automatically every time hours are logged. You always know where you stand, before the invoice.

Features

Everything a lean team needs, built into Helpdexx.

Built for SMEs without a dedicated helpdesk, so support stays organized without adding headcount.

Instant support requests
Log an issue directly from Business Central: title, priority and full description, with your contact details filled in automatically. No separate login or external form.
“Get Last Error” capture
One click pulls the exact Business Central error callstack straight into your request. No more retyping error messages from memory or a screenshot.
Centralized ticket communication
A ticket’s history isn’t buried in one colleague’s mailbox, it’s centralized in Business Central, where every defined user on your team can open the same ticket and read the full conversation. Nobody has to dig through Outlook or wait for the one person who happened to receive the email.
Attachments on the ticket itself
The screenshot, the export, the PDF: attachments sit on the ticket next to the request and the replies, so the file that explains the problem is in the same place as the problem.
Automatic status & notifications
Tickets move through Open, In Progress, Waiting for Customer and Closed automatically, with an email alert every time it’s your turn to act.
Closed tickets stay readable
A closed request moves into the Ticket Archive automatically, with its full history intact. Months later you can still look up what happened and how it was fixed.

Raising the request

Title, priority and contact details fill themselves in at the top. The description carries the problem in the user’s own words, and the file that explains it sits under Documents on the right, on the request itself.

What comes back

The confirmation lands in the requester’s inbox the moment the request is sent, carrying the reference number to follow it up. Every status change after that arrives the same way.

Common questions

Everything you need to know.

What happens after I send a request in Helpdexx?
