What started in 1995 as Hooyberghs, a single general construction company in the Kempen region, has grown into one of the strongest construction groups in Flanders. With over 630 employees, 12 specialised companies and offices in Arendonk, Antwerp, Oostkamp, Dessel and Ternat, B&R is today a full-service building partner for all of Flanders.

Much of this work was still registered on paper first. That meant manual registration, duplicate data entry, the risk of stock errors, limited real-time visibility into what was actually in the warehouse. At the scale of B&R, that was no minor inconvenience. It cost time and made errors harder to catch.
B&R Bouwgroep had already invested in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, extended with a construction-specific vertical. The digital backbone was in place. But the final piece was missing: a solution that lets warehouse staff work directly within that system, on the floor, scanner in hand.

Project LogiScan: The Solution
In 2025, B&R Bouwgroep partnered with Deltanexx to build Project LogiScan, a custom mobile scanning application fully integrated with Business Central.
Deltanexx analysed the complete warehouse operation at B&R and translated it into an intuitive scanning app that warehouse staff could adopt immediately. Less paper on the floor. No duplicate entry. Registrations made where the work happens, connected to Business Central.
For the scanning platform, Deltanexx selected Warehouse Insight by Insight Works, the industry-leading mobile scanning solution for Microsoft Business Central. Its deep integration with Business Central and flexible customisation capabilities made it the right fit for a complex, multi-process operation like B&R.
Deltanexx delivered the full end-to-end engagement: analysis of current workflows, configuration and customisation of Warehouse Insight, system integration, key-user training and go-live support.
On the scanner
What Was Built Together.
Five warehouse processes, now running digitally and connected to Business Central in real time.
Picking
Warehouse staff receive pick orders digitally on their scanning device. Per order, per item, per location. They scan, confirm and register in real-time.
Returns
Goods returning from customers are scanned on arrival and registered at the correct storage location. Unusable or damaged items are flagged immediately.
Purchase Receipts
Incoming supplier deliveries are scanned and immediately booked into stock. Discrepancies, site-specific destinations and supplier references captured correctly.
Inventory Count
Stock management becomes a targeted, digital activity. Count lists are assigned, scanned by warehouse staff and processed in real-time, including mid-shift.
Internal Movements
Internal stock transfers between warehouse locations are fully managed and documented digitally, from dispatcher assignment through to execution and confirmation.
